Michael, you are the sweetest man! Thank you for your kind words. Do you have a sweet brother, by any chance? I have a daughter (32) who I'd like to see settle down with a sweet, godly man. My 8-year-old grandson prays for a father [heart breaks].
I do love Jesus, that's for sure. [sings "Without Him, I would be nothing, without Him I'd surely fail. Without Him, I would be drifting, like a ship without a sail." An oldie, but a goodie--like me.] :)
Blessings,
Mary

Hi, Ed.
It's nice to meet you, as well. I see you've had the RNY, and Dr. Walton was the surgeon. He is performing my VSG on Nov. 17th. Any advice, even though the surgeries are different? Have you been pleased with Dr. Walton? The hospital at Edmond, if that was where you had surgery? Feel free to PM me, if you don't want to post an answer.
Blessings,
Mary

Two thoughts.  First, follow the instructions.  Second, shop at least one size beyond the one that fits you for a while, because change happens lightning fast.  Especially at first.  I had the surgery at the hospital in Edmond, and it went flawlessly.  I've found Dr. Walton to be an attentive and thoughtful physician, and recommend him wholeheartedly.  My parents also had the sleeve at Foundation with Dr. Broussard.  Dad has progressed phenomenally, and mom is progressing reasonably well.  You'll do great!

Thank you so much for the "insider's" view, Ed. I appreciate it. Wow! A family with one RNY and two VSGs. That's one for the study books!
Blessings,
Mary
