Hump Day Humor - Colonoscopies

Wednesday seems to be a pretty slow day around here every week...

I found this hiding in an old e-mail.  I think it originally started from comedian Dave Barry.   Given that we've pretty much all had our guts re-arranged one way or another, and knowing that several have recently had to undergo just such a procedure, I thought this was appropriate for the group.    Personally, I think number 9 will probably work best for me when I eventually get the "joy" of such an experience.

Hope you enjoy!  Have a great hump day - it's all down hill to the weekend now!

Colonoscopies are no joke, but these comments during the exam were quite humorous. A physician claimed that the following are actual  comments made by his patients (predominately male) while he was performing their colonoscopies:

1. 'Take it easy, Doc. You're boldly going where no man has gone before!'

2. 'Find Amelia Earhart yet?'

3. 'Can you hear me NOW?'

4. 'Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?'

5. 'Any sign of the trapped miners, Chief?'

6. 'You put your left hand in, you take your left hand out....'

7. 'If your hand doesn't fit, you must quit!'

8. 'Hey Doc, let me know if you find my dignity.'

And the best one of all.

9. 'Could you write a note for my wife saying that my head is not up there?'

That's funny right there.

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Yeah, there is something about the loss of dignity when they make an exit into an entrance complete with full color glossy photos!  My big day is in December.  I put it off as long as possible!
