I hope someone chimes in here soon.  I probably can't help you because I had the sleeve and because I haven't ever been nauseated.

I hope you feel better soon!!

Are you still taking your previcid (sp)? I know I took this for 90 days following surgery and never had nausea. Sometimes I had an uneasy feeling and having a SF popsicle did the trick for me.

Do you get before eating or after eating and have you noticed what foods cause it? Is it your protein drink? I developed lactose intolerance right after surgery and had to mix protein with water instead of milk.

No I am not  taking  the  previcid  cause it  makes me  gag. I called offc and they told me I could now take  OTC  Prislosec   so I am now taking  it. That did not help either.
I am  thinking  it  is  something  that I can get very easily .  Do not get it with  my protein  shakes.
Get  it in morning  sometimes with  my  water.  I  am trying to figure it out. So far  no sense
to it and  somedays are worse.  Do you only drink  water  or  do you  drink  other stuff now??
I get so water logged with the water  but I drink  64 oz  everyday.  Cannot  stand  decaf tea or
coffe  either.   So I am limited with  what I can drink. ANy  suggestions??  Glenda

Dehydration could make you nauseated. Also if you eat too much or something with a high fat or sugar content. Do you have phengren gel to use. It works great. Without knowing what you are eating I can't tell if it is your food or not.

No I defiitely am  not  dehydrated since I do  64 oz  a day.  My daughter is an  RN and she told me  that it could  be that I am not eating enough. So  today I am
trying to eat  more  and actually decided  to eat  4  xs  today  instead of 3.
Cause I am not eating  too much and see if  this may help.  I will call my PCP
and get  the  phengren gel // and  get it  to see if it may help.
I am very prone  to gag and  get nausea  easily  so I guess  I am still   this way.
\Thanks for your  replies and  I  will  listen  to  your words of wisdom and see
if it is  food  related.  Could  be. I do know  that I cannot get  chicken  down in
anyway  and  now I  am going  to try  fish and see how it does/

Glenda, I still cannot do chicken 10 months post op. Have you tried propel? Walmart also has powerade zero that comes in several flavors. Give them I try. I can never do plain water either.

Yes the water is gettin' to me.
I am on my way to Walmart when I get done here  to see what I think I would drink. I am very picky and nothing truty fruity tastes good to me.  WOnder what the deal is w/chicken??  I tried a real small piece of pulled pork and  I don't think that did very good either.
Can you eat roast beef?? Thx Glenda

I do okay with ground turkey and ground beef. Don't do real well with roast beef. The chicken and roast beef are harder because they are more dense. Best of luck, Rita

I don't do plain water myself. It is always propel, or crystal lite mixed with water. Until recently, last month or so, I could not stand really cold water, so mixed it right out of the tap.

Chicken is hard for me too. Mostly, I do hamburger fixed all kinds of ways and seafood. I still do protein drinks and eat alot of cottage cheese (mix in mandarin oranges), string cheese and ham sandwich meat. I also like the Turkey jerky better than beef jerky. Fage yogurt mixed with SF syrups or fruit spreads. Peanut butter. Kashi hot cereal (like oatmeal). Scambled eggs mixed with cottage cheese for cheesy eggs. I try to put cheese in almost anything I eat.

I absolutely love salads with eggs and bacon mixed in, but I did not start eating salads till about 3 mos out.
