popping in

What a week I have had. I have missed being able to read the posts and posting. My mom had surgery on Friday on her shoulder and my husband had back surgery on Tuesday. I am so exhausted. I haven't felt like doing much at all. George got to come home from the hospital yesterday and it was a rough day. He was in so much pain.
Now, my update. I had to reschedule my psych eval for Nov 6. That is the last preop exam I have until I get to see the surgeon for the consult. I am excited and can't wait to get in to see the surgeon. I am such an impatient person. Things seem to be moving slowly.
Hope all is well with every one.

Today has been a rough day for me and for my husband. I think all the morphine has worn off and he is feeling it. He has tried to sit up all day, and now he is in a lot of pain. Thanks for the well wishes. Glad your hubby is better and was able to return to work.

Hi, Emily.
I'm sure you are exhausted! Bless your heart. I pray that your mother and husband will mend quickly now. Remember, God always has a plan, and His timing is best. I know you're wanting to have surgery yesterday, but whenever it's time, it will happen.
Blessings,
Mary

Mary, thanks so much for the prayers. It really means alot to me. We had so many people praying for George while he was having surgery and God really answered some prayers for us. George was supposed to have L3-4-5 fused, but the DR got in there and only had to do L4-5 he was able to release all the pressure off the nerves just by doing that one. It was such a blessing. We also had a Christian nurse on every shift he was there and that really made us feel good too. It is amazing what a difference it makes when people are praying.

Girl, you're preachin' to the choir, when you say, "what a difference it makes when people pray." :)It's the most amazing thing that can be done, on behalf of another. What a blessing, about your husband. I will continue to pray for complete healing.
Blessings,
Mary

Gosh, what a load with 2 surgeries.  I hope they recover quickly.  I understand your feelings that it seems like an endless process.  I got so impatient with everything, but it seems like a whirlwind when I look back at it.  I know it doesn't seem like it now, but you'll be on the loser's bench before you know it.  Hang in there, Michael

Michael, thanks for the well wishes for my family. It has been really rough on me, but my daughter has been helping out some and that has been a blessing. I am exhausted and spent the morning napping. I have also been stress eating which isn't good. I have gained 5 more pounds so I am pretty down about that. I know it will be here soon. I really need to have everyone healed up before I go under too. I know it will all work out in God's time. I am so thankful I have all of  you all to help me through it all.
