Need some well wishes
I have been in chronic at first and now severe pain all week. my lower left side of my belly below my incisions has been in a lot of pain and is very stiff. It even hurts to sit here and type this. Both in the stomach and in my back. I saw Dr Gorospe yesterday and he scheduled me for a cat scan of my stomach tomorrow morning at 9am. I can eat and drink just fine but the pain is simply unbearable. Stool is okay too, well at least normal for us post-ops. He said he is not sure what has caused this but wants to check me out and see if anything is wrong. I havent done anything that would have pulled mucles that I can THINK of off the top of my head. It's been hurting slightly for about a month but I ignored it thinking it was just signs of weight shifting due to losing so much. But its gotten worse and now its near unbearable. Will update you all as I know more tomorrow.
Dan~ I will keep you in my thoughts and I hope everything turns out for the best. I'll be watching for your update. *hugs*

I'll keep you in my thoughts, and like everyone said, please let us know what they find out!
Dan,
Sorry to hear about your pain, man. We'll all be thinking good thoughts for you as you go for the scan tomorrow.
One thought - do you still have your gall bladder? I know that when my wife's started acting up a couple of years ago, her pain started on the left, then went right, up, down, and finally into her back. It took multiple trips to her regular doctor and to the ER before we finally convinced someone to check it out. They did cardiac enzymes several times because they thought she was having a heart attack. So - if it's still in there, be sure they check it out just to be sure that's not the trouble. A stone in one of those bile ducts could really cause all sorts of pain in your torso. (Disclaimer: I am NOT a doctor, but have been know to play one randomly in all sorts of places - but I've never been arrested for it!)
Let us know how it goes tomorrow. Best of luck!
John
