It is "funny" how attitudes change when an attorney is present! ALL our requests were granted and all changes asked for were made to Giorgi's IEP. We have one more meeting left but it is only to sign off on the 3 year review. There was only one area that I could have argued with but decided to let it slide for now -- the school psychologist tried to say they were not sure of the validity of the test that showed the low IQ. I am sure it is just their way of not wanting to take responsibility for causing it since we have ruled out everything else because if they really did not believe it they could very well repeat the test themselves. so I will just wait and next year will ask them to repeat it.
The attorney now suggested I apply for DDSD for Giorgi. I had not even thought of that.
