The scars fade over time too-and they move as you lose weight. It's kind of fun figuring out where they are now.....LOL. I have a band, and my "port scar" was right under my bra line-drove me nuts. Now it's down around my waist. (of course, the girls are a bit smaller too)

My scars, like Lynn's have faded to where I can't see them, either. I had 5, but I didn't have the sleeve.
On a side note, surgiversary is in 2 weeks!

Congratulations! The hard part is now over - making that decision to move forward with making your life better is truly the hardest part. Now that you've made the decision, all the rest is just details.
The scars are no big deal - except that the big one where the remnant stomach comes out can give you a bit of a twinge for the first week or so. Other than that, mine have started to fade already at 5 months out. At this point, they blend in with the remains of my stretch marks!
