Oh I'm just full of stuff ....none of it terribly useful. I remember concepts, not data. It made for some interesting meetings where I would explain what happened, but forget the actual number (sometimes millions) we were talking about...LOL. I eventually just learned to doodle the number if people who didn't know me were around so that I could spout off the right number and get my point across without them getting lost in "wrong number....."
What a gorgous animal! That is like in spotted saddle horses you breed for a pattern and a color scheme have to be totally careful as if you dont, u can end up with a horse that will not be recognised as a part of the bred...I had a black and white spotted mate with a black and white tri color ended up with a sorrel colored mare that had blue, brown and green eyes mixed..she had a fiery temper to boot to. But when she matured she was a horse everyone wanted to ride...
Deb you are never condensing and if someone says that about you then they need to realize they are pointing 4 fingers back at themselves

Well, hurry up and heal so we can go horseback riding.
In the border collie world, it's a huge no no to act like you even care what the dog looks like as long as it is "sound and has herding ability"....and I agree the show ring has messed up a lot of breeds, but admiring a well marked animal-heck YEAH. The idea of breed and registry vs. type of animal is only a few hundred years old at best. Before that, the best animal for the job did the job.
