Freaking out big time
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Does sound like a partial blockage, that may resolve itself if you can stand to do liquids only for a few days. My first one did resolve itself this way. Bu****ch out, you may still end up needing to have a procedure done in near future. Hopefully, you can stand to wait till you get ahold of your parents.
Take care and keep us posted.

I have been trying to drink Deb problem is I take a sip and it feel like a canned ham is stuck in my thoat then about 10 minutes later I throw up what I drank. This has been happening since last night. I cannot keep ANYTHING down....okay I take that back i tried to eat a slice of cheese and it seemed that stayed down okay
It is so hard when you have no insurance to be sick and afraid to go to the Dr. If you truely CANT get ANYTHING down, then I would go on and let them deal with no money...BUT if you can get a little down, it could be a virus. Have you eaten anything that COULD cause a blockage? If not...maybe keep trying the Gatoraide and see how you are in the morning....Listen to your body though and don't wait to long.
I hope you are doing better in your next report here.....

It sure sounds like you have a blockage. I remember mine just a short time ago, they made me drink some contrast material in hosp for CT scan and it made me violently ill (painful) and caused throwing up.
I had to be on IV fluids only, nothing by mouth, for 3 days and it cleared itself. (of course, it came back again less than 30 days later and I had surgery to fix problem)
Darn it has to be tough not to have insurance, but this can be life threatening so you need to get to ER.
Please take care of yourself.

Dan,
Insurance or no insurance I think you should be seen by a dr. Worry about the money stuff later. Really - if this is something like an ulcer and you develop a bleed things can get real serious real fast! Let us know how this comes out.
Pam
PS
The fact that there are sooooo many people in this country that have no insurance is a shame and it is definately going to effect how I vote come November!!!!!!!!

Well it looks (at least for now) like i have gotten past whatever the heck this was. I am thinking it might have just been some stuck food that finally went down. I have ate some chicken noodle soup, a few crackers with cheese, and drank a couple of bottles of water and they have all stayed down so far. My stomach still hurts but I think that is mainly from all the vomiting I did today. I will keep you all posted though. Thanks so much for a ll the warm wishes and concerns. Love ya all
What else would you expect from a bunch of maternal women and only a couple of men to take care of??? We will continue to worry until you are all better!! Let me know though, cause I can get sidetracked along the worry process ok?? I sometimes stop and start thinking only about myself!! Bad habit I know....I'm working on it!
Love ya back!
