Michael, we are all thrying to figure out the "little one".  Some days I can eat more than others and I am 4 months out.  Some days a food works well for me and the next time it is a no go food.  I know when I get that first bite in my mouth that it is not a happening deal and better get rid of it or I will pay.  You are doing great!  Just think, when in your life have you EVER paid any attention to what your body was telling you about it's need for food?  For most of us we just ate until it was gone- that was the cue to quit eating.  Once we hit the pattern on the plate we were done!  Now, you are paying close attentiont to the actual need for fuel.  I think this is what skinny folks have always done.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

True Denise.  I only attention I paid to what I ate, is how much could I pile on the plate, and how clean could I get it.  It is REALLY wierd leaving food on my plate!  I have never done that.  It's a new experience.  Michael

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

I think we are all still figuring it out. Every day is different. Some days i can eat more, and it scares me. Then other days, I barely eat anything before I'm full. Maybe it all evens out? I don't know.

I had a hard time in the beginning knowing how much to eat. Definitely the food texture makes a difference.

Congrats on having the surgery and enjoy your little friend!
