Forever Young

 Today is my 42nd birthday.  I'm not posting so everyone will acknowledge it.  I'm writing this because for the first time in 17 years on my birthday - I feel younger than my actual age.  It dawned on me this morning that I'm not sad about my 42 years, I'm embracing it for the first time in so long.  I'm a believer that you're only as old as you feel and I don't feel 42.  What an amazing WOW moment for me.  I feel lucky.  Soooo lucky.    Not only to have been given this gift, but to have you all on here.  You're amazing people and even though I'm not able to make support or dinners and I don't post much, I'm around and keeping up as much as I can.  Thanks to each of you for the support and strength you've given me.  Love you all and I couldn't do this without you!!

Well, happy birthday anyhow!!!!  I'll be 48 next month-I don't really feel that (except in the knees).

Cindy, Happy Birthday....and I felt exactly as you do, when I turned 44 this past July. I feel as if I am in my 30s to say the least! It is awesome to feel younger and healthier and full of energy!!

Happy Birthday! My birthday this year is 10 days before my surgery. i look forward to the fact that this is the last birthday that I will ever have to feel like this. I have 2 years until I hit 40...but I felt way older than that a long time ago. Thanks for the inspiration!

Cindy, you are the same age as my son in CA!  You are a youngin! Happy Birthday! I am so glad that you were able to make this change at your young age. I hope to gain many years of youth back after I have this....
