Okay, you can't say that I didn't warn you!  WAAAHHHH!!!  I am so flippin' close to goal and I think that I may have my first stall this week.  I know, I know - 5 months with no stall, so why the cry baby attitude?  Because I'm less than 7 lbs from goal!  I SO DESPARATELY want to be at goal at my 6 month surgiversary and at this rate it won't happen.  So, what are the tricks that can break a stall???Anyone?  Everyone?  Pretty please?

Okay - enough of that - in perspective, when is the last time I've felt this good or have been able to lose this kind of weight in this time frame?

Thanks for listening to my ranting rambles...

ok, I know you warned me!!  BUT SERIOUSLY!  You can't feel negative about this!!!  I don't think I've seen anyone else manage to make it to goal so quickly....except maybe Thomas!  I'll be happy to get to goal by 1 1/2 years!!!  Of course I had a lot more to lose than you did!  Be kind to yourself and drink your liquids and get your protein in!!  GOOD LUCK!!  I BET YOU MAKE IT!

You have a good point - it is a quick time frame to have lost this much.  I guess I just needed a few swift kicks to the toosh to get a better attitude about it!  Thanks!

I have no advice because I have been stalling too.  I just know that you have to keep on keeping on and it will come off.  I also wanted to say you are doing awesome and look perfect regardless of the last few pounds.  Congratuations and here's to hoping the stall breaks tomorrow!  OH....ex-lax maybe?! LOL!!

Funny you should mention ex-lax...I was at my mom and dad's a few weeks ago and didn't remember my stool softener, so she gave me one of my dad's.  I took it without thinking about it; it was a softner WITH stimulant laxative!  Let me tell you - you do NOT want to go there!  OMG - I thought I was going to die.  Thanks for the encouragement - I hope it breaks by Wednesday!  Good luck on yours too!

Sounds like someone needs a pat on the back or the head one!  You are doing great!  Thats amazing that you are at your goal or even close to your goal so quickly.  Be happy and proud of yourself!!!  GF If I were you I would be doing the Happy Dance!  Get some suspenders for those big Girl Panties and do the Cha Cha!  You are a skinny Minny!

Probably the whack on the head is more appropriate!  But me, I'd rather Tango!!!    Thanks for the words of support!

R.,

Very disappointed....  you NEVER read any of my STALL busting recipes in the recipe forum.  Tons of people write me all the time telling me how they're able to eat and get back into ketosis....  so go to the recipe forum and check them out...there are tons of them in there from me...

That would require menu planning and cooking on a regular basis!  YUCK!  JK - I will check them out.

LakeGirl, I'm not near to goal but I have experienced the dreaded "stall".  I made a very conscious effort to up the protein and added in some more fruit and veggies.  I was one who pretty much ate only protein and drank the water.  I think the body needs a change up as it gets stuck in boredom....  Good luck but I wouldn't worry about 7 lbs either.  You've done awesome!!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
