I am sitting here drinking a diet mountain dew... trying to understand how come my wl journey has had so many bumps twists and turns in it. I went today to met the surgeon associate of Dr. Keith to have my excess skin removed when I had my bulge fixed....WeLL the good news is this she is willing to do the TUMMY TUCK for me (not  just a skin removal WOOOHOOO!) the bad news I can not have that done till I have surgery for an wound that I have been seeing a supposed wound care specialists for...So tomorrow I am going into the OR to have surgery done on a wound that should have been taken care of months ago.
So instead of me, going back to work next month..I will be having surgery for my bulge and tuumy tuck. And I was informed tonight that I will not have a job when I am done with my medical problems...because I asked for a 6 week medical leave anything longer than that is voluntary termination of employment...
So I will be thinner and jobless...bright side..I can play and elf at the mall...

THAT SUCKS!  So many employers have no heart!  It's not like you planned on these medical issues or you are just making them up...like a headache or something!  Concentrate on healing!  You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for the job search and recoveries!

Jobs are over rated!  Who needs them!  J/K!
Just think you are gonna have a flat tummy with firm skin!  how about that!  You have the rest of your life to work.  Sounds like your employer will be the one missing out on you!

On a more serious note!  I will keep you in my prayers for your surgery and job hunt.  I know it would be scarey to be without a job.  But there is something better for you out there if your employer wants to be that way!

I hadn't thought of Christmas coming up!  Sorry about that. I wasn't trying to make light of your situation!  I was just trying to cheer you up!  I can't imagine how I would be if I were without a job!   Smaller clothes make me happy!
You always have your OH peeps!

See, you have a sense of humor in an upsetting situation!  That's great!  And its a start!  Who can be sad when they are getting their tummy tucked for Christmas!  LOL!

If you have worked there over a year you are covered under the Oklahoma medical leave act...which should cover you for longer than 6 weeks...Just a thought! My thought is who would wanna work for someone that would treat their employees like taht anyway. Good Luck!
