3,40,12 -- what do these numbers mean?
Today was a very good day. I had my 3 month appointment with Jess and Dr Walton. I have lost 40% of my excess body weight. When I was leaving I ran into Tony as he was buying his vitamins. He looked great! If I had not known, you would have never known he had surgery. Last time I was there for an appointment I was there forever but this time I got in and out quickly so I decided to go back to my office since I had an urgent issue I had left hanging. When I opened up my email I had the most wonderful email waiting for me from my friends in Romania. They found Giorgi's birth family! He is in the process of translating the report and will send it to me with tons of photos. He did send me one photo of her birth parents and 3 of her biological brothers. Her birth parents had a total of 12 children! 6 are in the home, 1 is in the US (PA as far as I know) and 4 are unaccounted for (the original report I had said there were 4 in an orphanage). Her birth mother stated she did not smoke or drink during pregnancy and there was no reported medical history that could account for the issues Giorgi is currently having. They also placed my request at the county office to find information about her bio brother in PA and were told there would be a response. If we find that her bio brother is having similar issues we may be able to assume that her birth mother was not truthful about alcohol use. But right now the scales are tipping more and more towards inappropriate education. Our meeting next week at school should be even more interesting now!
