This morning about 5 I had to have Scott take me to the Hospital because my chest was hurting and I couldnt breath! They were great.. usually when you go to a hosp and have no insurance they can be not so nice.. They never asked me if i had insurance or how i was going to pay.. that is a first for me.. they swiftly took me back hooked me up and got me on monitors, did an ekg and took xrays, everyone was nice and patient with me.. they even got me a fan when i got hot. my nurse was a nice lady named sherry. she was so sweet.. the doctor was dr. kevin hubbard. he was excellent and explained things very well.
I have broncitis, sinusitis, and inflamation in the cartilage in the chest.. hence the chest pains, which caused me to have a panic attack because i have that fear of having a heart attack from being obese. they doped me up and kept an eye on me for awhile and sent me home about 8.30 this morning.. Looks like I am going to be ok..lol.. with the pain meds i am feeling dang good now!
I just wanted to share with you all my exciting trip to the ER.. and to praise the hospital staff for being so nice.

Glad you were well taken care of. It is good to hear nice things about our local hospital. I took my daughter to the ER yesterday morning and we ended up not having to wait to see the Dr because the RN took care of the problem. One of her earrings slipped in  to her earring hole in her ear and was stuck. The RN dislodged it.  She was a very nice lady too.
I hope you get to feeling better really soon.

Sherrie, I'm so glad that they didn't find anything "majorly" wrong with you.  I know that it is always scary when you have pain in the chest area.  I hope you continue to get better...fast!!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

The nurse was Sherry.. must be something about Sherry's that make them nice people... lol..
There were other nurses that helped but she was My nurse.. so they tell me. and her name was easy to remember.. oh and one thing they do is write the doctor and nurses name on a board in your room so you know their name. that is a great idea

I'm glad you are doing better.  When I was in for my leg, a night nurse came in and wrote his name on the chalkboard.  (Remember, I had a dilaudid drip so I was not having a lot of inhibitions).  I laughed and said "I hope you don't expect me to pronounce that properly!" and we both giggled.  He's probably used to strung out people on the night shift.

I do love the boards though-it's so rude to call people "hey you" and I can't remember names under good cir****tances, let along bad ones.

Hi, Sherrie.
So sorry you've been feeling poorly. Now that you know what's going on and have medication, you can relax and just focus on getting better. I'm praying for you.
Blessings,
Mary

Glad it wasn't something more serious, and that you had such great care.  Take care of yourself.  Michael
