OMG!!! I tried on winter coats today and...

I can wear a large!!!  I am amazed!  I didn't buy one because I didn't find one I liked enough to spend the money.  But, when I do buy one no X's will be harmed in the making of my new coat!  I must have one before really cold weather or I will freeze!

I think just today my brain is finally able to see a smaller body. It is so weird to actually go shopping and not have to find the plus size section.  I find I am much choosier now- the fabric has to be right, the price has to be right, the sleeves just right- get the drift?  Before I bought if it just fit over all my fat and didn't look like a tent!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

What a great feeling that must be.  You may be in a medium by the time you buy one.  Keep up the losing streak...hehe.

That must be an amazing feeling, especially since coats do run a little smaller than regular clothes!! You are getting smaller, honey, but, as it is with most of us, you are last to notice!

I have been holding on to a coat that belonged to my Mom, it's brand new, she only wore on a trip to Italy, shortly before she passed away. I have waited 5 years to get into that coat (and to say I held on because one day I knew it would fit). It finally fits!!! Great, great feeling!

And yes, I know exactly what you mean about "settling" for clothes!!

I know that feeling is awesome. I got a "hand me down" coat today from my very thin sister that she was too "big" for (actually, just too tall). It's a medium from the gap I would hold out for as long as you can before you buy one.

8 pounds to my goal!

Congrats Sis!  I'm so proud of your progress.  I haven't checked the winter coat inventory yet!

And just think, this winter you'll be buying a coat you can wear next winter too!  That is the most amazing thing of all.

I know exactly what you mean!!!  Before I would buy whatever I could fit into at Catherines, that didn't have a matching hat and too much bling bling on it! LOL! Now I am overwhelmed at the choices I have when I go to the plus size section at Dillards or Pennys.  I can't even imagine what it will be like when I don't have to do the plus size section.  I have no idea what "my style" even is!  This will be fun!

WooooHoooo Hooo!  I'm so excited for you.  I have a coat now that Miss Lyntoral handed down to me but if it doesn't get cold soon it will have to be passed on to the next one in line.  I never worried too much about coats before because it had to be really really cold before I'd wear one.  I've already worn some jackets because I have lost some of that insulation!!  It's hard for our brains to catch up.  You are looking AWESOME!!  We're just going to keep on keeping on...walk, sip, walk, sip.....

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!
