OK, you survived your first post!  Good for you!  It gets easier.

Wishing you an uneventful surgery tomorrow and a speedy recovery.  Post anytime you need support or to ask a question.  Remember, the first week of liquids is always the hardest.  It will get better!

It was really nice meeting you this weekend.

Welcome to the board and to the group, and to your new life.  This is a serious, life changing process, but it works much better if you have fun!

It was nice to meet you this weekend. Posting gets easier. The support here has been so important in my success.
Good luck on Monday -- not that you need it as you are in good hands! Be prepared for Kim's visit as she will make you walk, although she did cut me some slack since I did not get back to my room until late and was a little loopy on IV pain meds.

Tony the Tiger!   Glad to see the first of what should be many, many posts!

So glad you joined in with our group this weekend.  These are the best people and have been very important to my journey.   They will answer anything!  And I mean anything!  We are bathroom issues experts!

I know your surgery will be a great success and I'll stop by and make sure your are walking and sipping.  We all had to do it and I'll be there to make sure you're not slacking!

My best advice for now?  The first 2 weeks are kinda crummy.  You're sore, tired and pi$$ed that you're only getting liquids.  But the good news is that after that, life is absolutely amazing!  You will lose weight so fast you won't believe it!

Please post if you have any questions!  And sleep well tonight.

Kim

Welcome, Tony.  Congratulations on your surgery tomorow.  I know it will go great.  Everyone on the hospital staff is amazing.  They made a hospital stay much better.   There is a space on the loser's bench waiting for you.  Michael.
