I ended up going to the bike store on broadway after all-got my valve (presta schaeder conversion valve, not that it matters).  I didn't find Java Daves-but there was a coffee shop next to the bike shop and they have COLD BREWED COFFEE.........OMIGOD.  OMIGOD OMIGOD OMIGOD.   Yes, it's that good.

We may have to make that a Saturday morning meeting spot.

I was just going to take a peek-and saw the cold brewed and HAD to.  It was so worth it.  Smooth as can be.  No acid....oh god, take me back there now.

(I tried a home made cold brew contraption once and made the worst mess in history in my kitchen.  But after tasting this, I may spring for the real thing)

I forgive you.  Wrapping around a cup of coffee is almost as good as drinking it.  I'm going to rig up a cold brew system again tonight-ahhhhhhhhh.

Well, I'm too lazy to drive to Norman tonight where I saw a Toddy machine-so I am soaking some course ground in mason jar-then I'm going to filter it into a bigger pitcher with a tea strainer and some lemon cloth.  I'll let you know how that goes.

Previously I made a contraption out of some big Gulp cups-but that failed miserably after the cat knocked it over and made a terrible mess.
