HELP! PLEASE PRAY FOR US RIGHT NOW
I don't want to go into a lot of detail I just don't have the time, but Steve (dh) is in the midst of a major medical crisis as I type this. PLEASE PRAY FOR US AND OUR FAMILY NOW! Ask for grace for each of us to be able to stand in the place we are now and wherever this road may lead us.
Please also ask God to help me be able to stop crying. I cannot be the support he and the kids need right now when I am in such a bad place.

Pam, my thoughts and prayers are going up for you and yours. Don't fret over the crying, darlin...that is nature's little "pressure release valve". You can still be a rock for your family with tears, as they show everyone how deep your love is for your husband. Kids are resilient and strong, despite their size. Don't be afraid to embrace them and lean a bit on THEM for support as well. That is what family is all about, support, regardless of age.

I just wanted you to know that I will be thinking of you and praying for you. I have been a singer for the most of my 38 years, and after reading your post I thought of this beautiful short piece I used to sing at the end of church. I wish you could hear the music it is beautiful, but here are the words, I hope they bring you a litle comfort.

This is my prayer for you and Steve: "Heavenly Father, I come to You now to intercede for my OH friend Pam's husband, Steve. Father, I don't know the situation, but You do. I know that Steve is having a major crisis physically. I know that there is no crisis that is bigger than You, God. Your Word says that 'nothing is impossible with [You,] God.' I ask that You would, right now, do that which seems impossible, in this situation. Lord, You are BIG, and I ask You to be BIG in this situation. Even death is not bigger than You. I ask for a Lazarus miracle, for Steve. Jehovah-Rapha, You are the God Who Heals, just as Your Name means. I ask You to reach down Your mighty Hand of Healing and touch Steve's body. Give the doctors wisdom, to know how to best be Your Hands in this situation. Father, in great faith, I'm asking that Steve be healed right now, in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, who had compassion on everyone and healed EVERY person who came to Him in faith. Lord, I ask that You reach down and place Your blanket of comfort around Pam. Give her Your peace, that peace which passes all understanding. Give her the grace to stand strong. May she know, down deep in her heart, that You are still on the Throne and everything's going to be all right. Father, we will be careful to give You ALL the praise and ALL the glory, for what You are about to do. I pray, with thanksgiving, in the Name of Jesus. Amen."
