DH is still sick!!!!!

He was suppose to have a scope done today, well we thought! DR says they are waiting on insurance to do pre-approval.  Well, primary PCP is out of the office for the rest of the week.  DH started feeling ill again this evening, been on clear diet since yesterday.  He just went to bed feeling painful again.  I told him if the pain starts up pretty hard again to let me know ASAP so we can get into the ER again.  He doesn't want to go sit in the ER for 6.5 hours again to be told nothing.   I don't blame him but the DR on call needs to do something.  It has to be more than a stomach bug, no kidney stones, no gall bladder, no hernia, I don't know what.. something is making him very uncomfortable.  When we went in yesterday, his blood pressure was something like 245/175 (don't quote me because I am not good with blood pressure numbers but I guarantee the top number was correct) .. Yi Yi Yi... This is so fustrating..

And to top it off, my 4 year old has bumped his head pretty hard.  I just called the pedia on call and she said to just keep an eye on him.  Gave him some tylonel.  The twins have baby well checks tomorrow at 10:30 AM so pedia on call said we should be fine.  I have little man sleeping on the couch so I can keep an eye on him all night..

And when am I suppose to clean and shop for this birthday party Saturday???  Any and all prayers are greatly appreciated..

I was wondering how he was doing today.  I hadn't seen you post anything so I assumed he was better and it was the virus thats going around.  I wi**** was now!  Sorry he's so sick.  I hope they hurry and get him in for the scope so they can see whats going on with him.

I also hope your baby is ok!  Poor family! :(

Thanks everyone.. I think DH has diagnosed his own problem during the night..  He does have a small hernia that he has been aware of for 5+ years.  When mentioning it to the ER doc, the CT scan showed the hernia.. And after DH said he new of it for 5 years, the ER doc was like oh that can't be it.. DH is able to pu**** back in and give himself 5 minutes of rest and than it starts up again.. So we are pretty sure that's what it is..  The twins have dr appts at 10:30 AM and DH is going with us.. hoping they can get him sqeezed in today and fix it and be home either today or early tommorrow.   

So now, I don't know if I can go to the dinner at this point.  If DH is home and recovering hoping I can still throw the b-day party.. 

Thanks for everyone chiming in.  But God only gives us what we can handle.

I'm sorry he's still not feeling well.  I hope he can get something done FAST!  You know what....I just wouldn't worry about cleaning for the birthday party.  Sometimes...especially with kids...they just don't care and if the adults don't understand then it's their problem.  The party is for the kids anyway.  You'll just have to clean after they all leave anyway!!!!  Take care of youself also!!!!!

When they checked his gall bladder did they also do what is called a hiatus scan?  It's the valve from the gallbladder.  It took them 5 months to figure out that was my problem.  No gallstones, just a defective valve.  They check it by doing a scan while they inject a hormone intraveneously.  If that was not done, request it.  That may be the problem.

You know the Hiatus scan did the trick.. Dr Mann did it and bingo we found the problem..
