Did I tell y'all that I bruised my leg the other day?  Oh wait, doesn't sound quite as important now.  Seriously, Janice, it HAS to get better from here.  I mean, gez, what else could go wrong. Getting the electric back on is such a huge plus!  I'm sorry you have been through so much, but glad you are basically OK.  Michael

Hi!  My brother and his family live in Houston.  They were so fortunate.  They didn't have any damage to their home.  The barn where there horses are got minor damage.  They were without power for a few hours.  I don'****ch much television or news at least.  I didn't even know there was a hurricane Ike until I saw the news on at my Dr.s office.  And afterwards, I just assumed it wasn't that bad since they were oK.  I am so sorry you had to go through such a terrible ordeal.  The thought of no electricity and flooding!  And your foot!  Plus cranky kids!  Wow, you are wonderwoman! 
I hope you get back to normal soon!

Nah, no wonderwoman here, just a determined Mommy who wanted her kids not to have to deal with this schtuff.  Hey, the kids made it unscathed, by Ike or me, lol,  that is what truly matters.  Glad to hear your brother and his family made it thru relatively OK.

Glad you are home and have good news for the most part compared to many!!!! Sorry that you are having a rough at it though.
