I'm a flunkie too.  I make myself drink anything before I eat.  Usually, I'm so busy that by the time I've finished 20 oz it's almost lunchtime.  If I do manage to eat something, it's a protein bar or sting cheese.  Healthy  huh?  Looking forward to seeing the replies.

I make myself eat breakfast everyday. Some of the things I eat:

Cottage Cheese with NSA peaches

Egg, bacon, cheese wrap -I use the carb well fajita wrap, one egg, 2 slices of the microwave bacon, and a slice of reduced fat provolone.  I grill it on my forman grill.  It is easy to eat when I am on the go.  I have also done it with just ham and cheese.

If you have time you can make a breakfast pizza on the low carb tortillas.  I do this on the weekends

Blue bunny Light yougurt with almond slivers mixed in

These are staples, but sometimes I just have leftovers for brekfast.

I always drink 20 oz before I eat breakfast, then for breakfast I have either eggs, an Atkins protien bar or the Flax cereal with berries of some type.

I am SO not a morning person.  Breakfast, to me, has always been the meal you should eat between 2:00 AM and when you get home to go to bed...    but, since I got on the program with Weight Wise, and especially since my surgery, I have been doing my best to eat something to get going in the morning.

My best choice is string cheese.  I like the cheddar/mozzarella twist ones the best.  They are easy and I can even eat them on my drive to work if I have to. (Did I mention that I am not a morning person?)   On the weekends, I usually try to get in a scrambled egg and maybe a piece of bacon or sausage...  I have been considering trying to go back to a protein shake for breakfast, just because it seemed easier when I was on the pre-op diet.

I'm hopeful that someone will post up some great easy ideas that I can borrow!

I used to hate to eat breakfast. Now I love it, and I'm ready for it in the morning. That's probably because I don't eat anything after dinner, usually.
I like variety, so I choose one of the following, and cycle through:
1 egg, sunny-side up, with 1-2 slices of Canadian bacon
1 serving Oatmeal, with a pear half with shredded cheddar cheese on it (don't knock it, 'til you've tried it)
1-2 egg omelet, with mushrooms and low-fat cheese
3/4 c. puffed wheat or puffed rice cereal, with skim milk and 1-2 slices bacon
Small breakfast steak (nothing else with it, or I get too full)
Leftovers from the dinner the night before
Keep in mind that I'm pre-op. Who knows what I'll be able to tolerate post-VSG, but I'm not scared! :)
Blessings,
Mary

I've been having a boosted up protein drink for breakfast.  Today I had some cottage cheese (really good organic stuff yumyum) but you know what-I've also hit the cookies this afternoon-so it will be protein for me in the morning again.

My AHA about breakfast is that those calories really aren't to enjoy-they are to get you going.  If I "save" them for something I like better, it's usually later in the day and not as healthy a choice.

I used to love breakfast. Now, I kind of find it a drag. I always drink a cup of coffee and then usually an Atkins bar. I may occasionally eat a poached egg and fruit.

8 pounds to my goal!
