Pre-op and Post-op: post your total weight loss so far here!
I've gone from a 24 pants and tight 3X top to a size 14 or 16 pants and a L or XL top- no more women's department for me! Weird! I automatically head for the women's sizes and then remember I don't need to head there anymore. I haven't shopped in regular sizes since the late 1970's.
I lost 34 pre-op.
I have lost 41 post-op since 5/28/08.
Total lost: 75 pounds
I was wearing a size 26/28 everywhere but sometimes the tops were too tight. Now I wear an 18/20 top - still my biggest problem area - and a 16 bottom. I can sometimes wear an XL top, it depends on the brand and I have some 14 pants. Go figure! It's all just number anyway and *****ally cares? The only number I care about is the number on the scales!
If you are on the fence, DO IT!!! (If you are willing to give up carbs - the number one evil edible in the world, in my opinion!)
Ok..let's see...I lost 50 lbs pre-op and 90 post-op. Lost a total of 67.50 inches since March 2008.
I feel great, have basically gone down 10 sizes. My top gets smaller than my bottom faster. I can buy XL at Wal-Mart junior department!! What size I wear now depends on where I shop. I can fit into a L or XL in regular sizes mostly (not women sizes). Pants are 18 right now.....
This has been truly amazing....can't wait for the next 90 some lbs to go bye-bye!!!
I now weigh the same as two bloodhounds!
My goal is to weight the same as a complete Oxford dictionary Set...or close to it. I'm very realistic.
I have lost a 2 month old baby horse!!
CRAZY!!!
In regular talk...start 300, lost 100, currently 200, want to weigh around 160 or 150 range. I'm very muscular "farm stock" so I don't think I'll get below 150 unless I am ill! lol
ONEDERLAND!!!! FINALLY!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!
Well Lets see I started out weighing a much as a Welsh Pony and a 5-gal bottle of water combined. I have lost a 2 month old horse and a small bale of hay.
What I am trying to say is I started out at 440 lbs I am now at 290 lbs so I have lost 150lbs and I am a week shy of 7 months. I love my RNY.
I have went from 5x-6x to mostly 2X and I actually have some 1X tops that fit it just depends on the brand.
Lost 20lbs a year before looking into WLS. Gained 10 back.
The day I went to seminar I was weighing 255, at time of surgery I was down to 252.
Weight prior to recent hospital stay was 153, and after 4 days in hospital on IVs and liquids, gained to 10 lbs. (Of course it is fluid retention and I know it will go away in a few days time.
Total loss from Highest is: 117.
Total loss from Surgery is: 102
I am using 260 as my starting point on my ticker since that is the weight I was at Dr visit with diabetes specialist *****ferred me for WLS and Dr Gorospe.
