i lost 40lbs pre-op and 55lbs post op for a total of 95lbs. am looking for a way to celebrate 100lbs!! i can now wear a shirt without any x's in it but i don't know what size pants yet because i haven't broke down and bought any. i am just going thru my closet wearing things i haven't worn in years!!
I lost 24 lbs pre-op and 36 lbs post-op for a total of 60 lbs, the equivalent of an elephant's penis. I was wearing a size 26 before surgery and now wear an 18 or 20. Unfortunately, I had cleaned out my closet a year ago thinking I would never wear those sizes ever again so my closet is pretty empty right now!
LOL -- I got that from the list Sherry just posted below. I would love to know who ever thought to weigh and Elephant's penis -- or how they did it! I was telling my husband and daughter-in-law my new accomplishment at dinner the other night. I had to whisper so the girls would not hear. They are very proud of me and told their teachers the first day of school about my surgery. I could just see them going to school and telling them what I had lost now!
I started out at 297 lbs. I wore a size 24/26. I lost 22 lbs pre-op and weighed 275 on the day of my RNY. My lowest weight has been 132, right now I am 139 (and very pregnant). I want to stay between 125 and 140. I wear anywhere from a size 2 to a size 6, depending on the brand of clothing. It's been an amazing ride!

I started at 234.8. Lost 17# before surgery on May 12. Have lost a total of 71 as of today. Started out as a size 22 and am now a 10/12 depending on cut and brand. Feet went from 7 1/2 to 6 or
6 1/2. I still see size 22 me in the mirror, but I'm slowly adjusting. Very happy I did this and thrilled with the results.

I started out at 220 lbs; no pre-op loss, but have lost 72 lbs in just under 5 months. At the beginning of this surgery, I wore a TIGHT size 16 and am now in a size 8. I have 8 lbs to go to reach my "goal" but honestly, I think I'd like to go even lower now. When I picked that goal, I honestly wondered if I would ever reach it - now it seems completely within grasp and I want more! Ha! Regardless of what happens, even if I don't lose another pound, I would do this again in a heartbeat!!!
Since I am way pre-op...I thought I'd throw out the ole wt.loss = this chart.... some how it really hits you! I think I got this from Rita....not sure.
