Tulsa weekend update

We've had an addition to our expedition - Janet!  But we had to get another room at SpringHill and rearrange.  So now its:

Room #1 (2 double beds, sofabed)

EDIT: Hoodoo was able to get 2 Queen beds today!  No sofabed but at least 2 Queens!  Will try the same for Janet's room!

Did I leave anyone out?  This should work better based on the bedding available at the hotel.

Janet is driving up on her own ahead of us. 

Some have expressed concern at leaving their car in the commuter lot.  If this is a problem, everyone can meet at my house but I'm not sure if that's convenient or not.  I live in Edmond at Danforth and Kelly.  We could meet at my house at say, 3:15?

We have dinner at Mimi's at 6:30 Friday night in Tulsa.  We have to be at the walk on Saturday morning at 8:30.  We should have plenty of time to come back and shower before check out but suggest we all ask for late check out.  But late check out is usually not later than 1:00 or so.

I'm not sure how many cars we're taking.  Just 2?  I know that Anna is driving and I think Lynette too.  I would be happy to drive if we need me to.  Everyone else can leave their car in my driveway - it's pretty big.

We can do whatever anyone wants to do after the walk.  I just have to be back in time for Cowboy football at 6:00.  I'm guessing we'll have different cars doing different things but who knows???

Hey DAN!!!  I sent you a blind IM on Saturday about some stuff... get back to me so that Lynette and I can plan things!!  Come on bro!!  Take care of your big sista!!!  Oh and if you know rich single cowboy - even better!!  I am open to suggestions!!   roflmao!

 

My thought is the commuter lot is more convenient for where everyone is coming from. I really can't leave work earlier than 3 as I will be the only manager there that day. As far as the safety of the commuter lot, I do believe it is safe. I had to go to Tulsa yesterday and another girl drove. I left my car without a problem.

Ok!  Then let's meet at the commuter lot at 3:30.  Will that work?  Then anybody who wants to leave their car at my house will have to be at my house by 3:00.  Then we'll go to the commuter lot after that.  And yes, I think it is at 122nd off of I-35.

Sounds like a great plan. Since I am driving, I will leave it to others to decide where they want to leave the cars...

I am not working on Friday, so if anyone needs to be picked up, to avoid leaving a car anywhere, please let me know...I don't mind doing that.

P.S...will we be checking in before meeting for dinner? (just so I can change clothes....and other stuff!)  

Check in first - then dinner.  The hotel is only a couple of miles from Mimi's.

Okie dokie-I'm picking Nancy Gene up at 3:00 and then we'll head over to the commuter lot.  If someone wants to  leave their car at my place, they can.  I'm happy to leave my car at the commuter lot or drive it to Tulsa, however it works out.  I'm not cheap, but I am easy.

That came out so wrong!  I was commenting on your post!  Then I was asking where you lived in case it would make it easier for you to pick some of us up!

SW 49th and May-going to Reno/Meridian area to pick up Nancy Jean.

OH OH-and I called and got the 2 Queen room so we have an extra slot now (or maybe we can pick us up a MAN.....)  But I'm not planning on working at all on Friday-so I am free to drive and pick people up after I drop the kiddos off (which I can do as early as 7...LOL)
