Update on me......

Well I was admitted to Bailey on Tues evening, severe abdominal pain again. 3rd hosp admit in less than 30 days. Dr G and Dr Kirk looked over the previous xrays and CT scans from this admit and prior to see what was going on. So they decided there was certainly something going on and I had lap exploratory yesterday and they released several adhesions on my smail bowel. I am now home, and taking pain meds and will be off work next 2 weeks.

I am so glad they could fix me up. 5 incisions to heal, looks like they tried to go in 5 of the same spots from my gastric bypass, so at least not 5 more new scars.

Boy am I glad that is over with.

I see I have alot to catch up on. Sorry to hear you were also under the weather Dot. Wishing you speedy recovery.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having problems! Seems like we've had a rash of complications lately. I hope your on the mend and will be feeling better soon! Please keep us all posted on how you're doing.

I am so happy they found the problem! Hoping for a speedy recovery and a complete resolution of your problems. Hospitals are NOT a fun place to be- especially 3 times in 30 days!

I have maintained for one year at this point. I am steady at -120 pounds. =)

I am so sorry to hear about all your issues, but thankful that they discovered what the problem was... I bet you ARE glad it is over....I'm glad you are listening to your body!
