DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!

Hi, Sherry.
When it rains, it pours (in a good way, in this case). My son is giving me his "old" CPAP machine, and a friend let me know that she has her brother's "old" CPAP machine and is willing to give it to me. Both are said to be in good condition--insurance pays for a new machine every 3 years (something like that). Anyway, each would need a new hose and mask, and it would be a good idea to have both checked out (medical supply place can do it or have it sent in).
I am totally willing to give both of these machines to you. I can have my son's around Thanksgiving (unless they decide to come Christmas, instead), but I can have the other machine within a week. I don't go back to Edmond for 4 weeks, but we could arrange to meet there, if you want.

Wow! Yes, I'd love to talk to you about those. Mary it would so help them!! One day I can't even afford a cpap to do the study  and then a gracious friend on here...who is  Ms. Happy, lets me borrow hers for awhile....Then I get a free one which I pledge to give to someone to help them.....(I was thinking about my sis and husband) I even called her to tell her she could use mine when I was done, because I was blessing someone back....she was so excited because they just can't get diagnoised or get a machine without job risks!!! But NOW  when I don't need mine, I will give to a WW patient to help them!!  I love this paying it forward thing!!! Will you PM me your number please?    Sher

Thank you to all.....You all are so precious to me.I am so blessed to be able to do this....BUT I am even more blessed to have such wonderful new friends!!!  Policecat just made me cry.....I have NEVER had a person say that they would like to be like me someday.....I never though I was worthy of a statement like that being directed at me like that....I even thought I was so negative on here about it taking so long that I figured I was like the gal on Saturday Night Live...Debbie the Downer!  I have tried to be like Pollyanna,  play the glad game, and even when I was so defeated , I kept trying to find the good....There have been so many tears and I kicked my own butt for having pitty parties all the time!!  You guys were even great to come to those parties on here for me...Yet...I stood my ground for what I wanted....know my future was an early death....now my future will have hope!!!   Thank you for all your kind words, encouragement and for helping to see the me I don't see! I love you guys!!

Hey, Mary. Let's do this first or I will do it with the ones you give me....Let's make sure no one on here is self pay and needs this for surgery......My sister and brother in law can wait if they have to for my cpap or if no one needs these, but I know how hard it is financially to have to wait for each little road block to bust up. So I'll post it and we will see what happens....OK?

Sherry, I am so happy for you.  I had an experience today where I realized if you just open yourself to the solutions, they often come to you.  That doesn't mean we should stop trying to figure things out for ourselves, just realize, there are other forces at work in the world besides our own will and intellect.  Mine wasn't as cool as yours, just something worked out when I let it go so to speak-but I agree, dreams can and do come true.

Oh my goodness Sherrie!!!  I have been out of town and get on here to check up on all the "peeps" and what an answer to prayer I see!!!  Isn't God good??  I'm so glad that you didn't give up on your dream.  They do come true and prayers are answered every day.  I just knew it would happen for you but I was so hoping sooner than later.....  This is just good business for WW as well.  I felt that they would honor their word in the long run...I'm thinking all the big minds had to get on the same page and the left hand knowing what the right had knew sorth of thing.  Blessings abound with the C-pap as well.  YOU GO GIRLFRIEND...your place is so getting decorated...we're going to have those hats and baloons and those blow things that people use for New Year's parties!!!!  Yooo hooo hooooooo!!!!
