Sick!!!

I went to the doc this morning.  I have the "Fall Flu" thats going around.  Its very contagious and really no fun!  I thought it was just a head cold but now its going to my chest.  I'm achy and feeling really bad.  Hurts to cough!!!!  Dr. said it lasts for 10 days.  OMGsh!  I am such a baby!  I have been sleeping in the recliner and dowing Nyquil!  FYI!  they don't give antibiotics for it because its viral.  So anyone thinking of going to the doc for it ...They will give you something to ease your symptoms but no antibiotics. 
Anyway I'm off to bed!  I had some soup broth and I'm going to sleep it off!

I won't even be seeing my family in from Houston b/c of this STUFF!

I am sooo sorry for you. I am on week 2...but mine turned to Bronchitis so I got antibiotics. I am actually on round 2 of antibiotics and feeling much better. But I am afraid this cough is never going away. Hopefully this means that since I got it now I won't get it after I have my surgery. Lots of rest is all that seemed to do me any good. I only came to work one day last week I was just so exhausted. Take care have some chicken soup and a steamy bath....

omg I feel for you becuase I have that crap too... I have had it since tuesday and it sucks

Kim I am so sorry that you are sick... I just hope I do not catch it since I have my surgery coming up..

Oh!  I hope you don't get it either!  I started taking all kinds of vitamins about a month ago thinking it would help keep me from getting sick!  NOT!  They didn't keep me from getting this!  :(  Hopefully you'll be more fortunate then I was!  Good Luck!
