Mushies question

So, today was MUSHIES for me... YAY!!  I have a question though.  I haven't really been all that hungry so I am having a hard time telling when I am full.  I ate half of a cheesy egg omelet (a one egg one) and started feeling burpy so I stopped.  At lunch I had about an ounce of tuna and got the same feeling so I stopped.  Now, did most of you say you would kinda eat until u got a signal (such as a lil burp) to let you know to stop?  It's so weird not to want to obliterate a whole plate of food!!  LOL!
Thanks!

The burp is the most noticable method to know when to stop eating.  I had the hardest time also remembering to chew, chew, chew.  But if I burp even once, I stop eating.  Sometimes if it happens right after the first one or two bites, then I will wait about 10 minutes and then slowly eat one more bite.  If it makes me burp, then it's definitely time to stop eating.  You will not eat very much at first so don't be too concerned about the volume.

Good Luck.

Knowing when you are full is a hard thing to learn at first.  I never got the burp.  I just had to stop and listen to my tummy.  I had to really pay attention to how full the tummy said it was.  I still get no signal like a burp, runny nose, or a hiccup.  Eat really slowly, chew well, and pay attention.  Tiny tummy will teach you if you listen to it.

Congrats on making it to mushies!

I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

The little burp is what happens to me as well, when I have had enough food.

It too me a while to figure out when I was full.  I wasn't hungry to begin with so how could I tell if I was full?  I did finally catch on that if I go slow enough I get a hiccup or two and that tells me I better stop right then.

I also get a burp or a hiccup. If it is ignored, you will learn very quickly what it means as the food then feels like it is stuck in your throat. Eat too fast and it may not stay where it was put!

LISTEN TO THE BURPS! If you continue to remember that, you will do great. I am 5 mos out and If I don't listen to the burps now, up it will come.

I HAVE FOUND THAT MY "FULL BUTTON" IS TO FEEL LIKE THE FOOD IS CAUGHT IN MY THROAT. I GET THAT FEELING AFTER ABOUT 4-5 BITES AND KNOW THAT I AM FULL. IF I TRY TO KEEP GOING I WILL END UP SICK. IT IS A TRIAL AND ERROR SORT OF THING AND YOU WILL FIGURE IT OUT.

Well it seems I get one or a combo of any of those signals you all mentioned!!  So I will definitely heed the burp warning!
Thanks for the info!
