Hotel booked in Tulsa for Walk From Obesity

I have booked one room in Tulsa that 5 of us will be staying in for the one night of September 26.  Here is the hotel info:

I booked this on the Marriott website (www.marriott.com) and the are doing a promotional rate of $80.00 if you book by 9/22/08.  This room has 2 queen beds and a sofa bed.  I haven't been able to find any 2 bedrooms as they seem to all be sold out due to some event in town that weekend.

Shelley (my wls buddy from work)

When we know how many people are going to book rooms, I'll call and see if we can get adjoining.

I was thinking we could follow each other to Tulsa.  What did everyone think of my idea of leaving cars in the commuter lot off of I-35?

Where is the I-35 commuter lot?

I think it's around the 122nd street exit so it's close to the turnpike entrance.

Lynette couldn't get a room with 2 queens for this so we may have to consider changing hotels!

I got a room with 1 king and 1 sofabed-so I could bunk 2 more people.  I'm going to come back on Saturday as well, so I will be happy to drive too.

The room was 90 bucks so if two more people wanted to join it would be 30 bucks a piece, which still isn't bad for a nice room.

 

edited to add: I also don't mind moving hotels if everyone wants to.

I will post on both threads -- I was talking to my husband tonight and he said he did not mind if I went to the walk, even though I will have been gone all week to Memphis for work. The problem is, I get back in town Friday morning and am having someone from my office pick me up at the airport and take me into the office so I will not have my car. Does anyone going work close to Reno and Meridian that could pick me up? I could have my husband pick me up at the commuter lot on Saturday.

I was looking around for other hotels with 2 queens and a sofa bed and not having much luck.  I think there is a convention or sporting event in town.  (they told me and I forgot!)  I'm happy staying at SpringHill if you gals can stand the kind bed?

Ok, Lynn and Nancy Jean are bunking with me-Lynn is driving.  I will feel like Ms. Gotrocks or something being driven.......I'm so excited!
