Wt. Wise, Thurs.

Hi, Everyone.
Will anyone be at Wt. Wise this Thursday morning? I'll be getting weighed in at 9:45, will see Kathy (nurse?) at 10:00, Chris (dietician) at 10:45, and Lauren (exercise gal) at 11:30. My DH is taking me.
Would love to meet any of you who might be there, in person.

I'll be there!!  With my brother!  He is having a whole series of appointments too.  I don't remember all the times, but the first one is at 11:00.  He is doing psych, exercise, dietician, (not necessarily in that order) and then we are staying for support group. 

Since you don't have an avatar of yourself, you'll have to keep your eye out for me!

Maybe I will see you there. That would be fun. I'm 52, shoulder-length brown (dyed) hair, VERY round, and I'll be with my husband (slightly shorter than I, with strawberry-blond hair--not dyed--and a mustache). :)

I would like to meet you in person, Rita (right?), but I wouldn't want to intrude, especially while you're working. I'm sure we'll meet, when I have my VSG (in Nov. or Dec., surely).

Mary, I won't be there Thursday.  I do know that there is a support group meeting Thursday evening at 6:00 and a lot of the folks will be there for that one.  I won't be at that meeting either since I will be out of town for my job beginning tomorrow through Friday.  Sounds like you're getting all your ducks in a row and things are moving right along!!!  You'll be on the looser's bench with us all before we know it!!

Thanks so much. My husband and I can't stay for the support group, unfortunately. Oh, well. I should have spoken up, when we were there a month before last, I think it was (when Dr. Keller spoke).
All I need to do is lose these last 9 lbs., I think. The money is another story. We have about $3,400 at our fingertips. The rest will have to be paid on time. We do have an avenue to do that, we just hate to walk down it.

I totally understand.  I was a cash pay and never thought I could have done this financially.  The good Lord opened up a door for me and an option to pay for it.  I would so do it again in a heart beat. 

I was self-pay RNY.

I'm still amazed at how my financing came together at the last minute...  I was really sweating it there for awhile, but prayers are answered :o)
