MY SCALE HAS MOVED TO BUT NOT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Im almost 4 weeks out, and my scale is now saying that I have put on 4 lbs.  from the 36 lbs that I have lost since the start.  Is this normal at this stage?  Im thinking that it is water weight gain?  If so how do you ladies handle water weight, Im really bad around that certain time of the month, I usually can't even get my jeans on.  Well it's not that time of the month anyway.  Just wanted to know about the 4 lbs that my scale says i have put on. its hard to beleive that I could gain 4 lbs. expecially when I hardly eat anything.

You already know it's not fat!  It has to be water.  So hang in there and it will be gone shortly.  Make sure you drink a bit more water so you can pu**** all through your system!

I am one of the scaleaholics. When I weigh and she a slight gain, I know I have not drank enough. I up my fluids and the gain goes away -- and sometimes with more along with it!

Thanks, I know that I have not been drinking enough, so I will get on it right away, I don't really feel like drinking or eating, but I know that liquids are so important at this point. Thanks Gals.

I'm right there with ya sister!  I gained 2 lbs when I weighed this morning.  Ugh.  I do have a lovely blemish on my chin that tells me I am close to the ol visit from Aunt Flow.  But, I still hate to see the gain.  In the beginning I had heard so much about gains and stalls that I decided to not weigh for like 4 weeks straight.  It was probably a good thing because I didn't lose much during that 4 weeks and I would have been crushed if I would have been weighing every day.  I need to try and step away from the scales for a week and see what happens.  I have been weighing every day....yeah I know-bad.  Anway, just know that you will eventually lose, promise.  Happycat hit major stalls early on and check out her ticker now.

Amy - I'm so impressed that you are going up to your attic every morning to weigh!  That is great exercise!

Rosie, I'd keep your journal up, so that you can actually see what you are eating or drinking on paper. You will know that the calorie intake you have can not cause you to gain. You body HAS to have a certain limit to gain or lose. Eventually it will drop off....Now....remind me of that after my surgery ok???
