I've had a crap day

I hate to complain but I've had a crap day. I went in this morning for my IVC filter. I've been stressing out about it anyway so I knew today would suck. The procedure itself went ok. I only had a mild panic attack. Everything was great for about an hour and a half afterwards. I had a little back pain on my way to lunch with my best friend but didn't think too much of it. When I stood up after lunch though I almost collapsed from back pain. I don't normally have back pain! We rished from Bixby to Owasso and checked in to the ER. They did an x-ray and found out that it had shifted a little so they ordered a cat scan to make sure it hadn't punctured my vein. The good news is that it hasn't. The bad news is that my back still freaking hurts and they don't know why. They gave me a perscription for lortab and I just took one a little while ago. Its helping some.

Today just suuuuuucks! I knew you guys would understand. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Knowing that people are out there that get it really does help.

Sorry for your bad experience, I hope your pain subsides and you can feel more like yourself.  I haven't had my IVC filter yet but I will have to have one before surgery.  Just remember it it protecting you and your doctor thought it necessary for you.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!

I'm sorry you had a crap day!  The stuff we have to go through just to have our innerds reworked!  Just remember that it's so worth it!  But this is the place to come to whine so let it all out!  Tomorrow will be better.
