Recipes, girl stuff and another stall
First of all and best of all, I've made 2 recipes the last 2 nights and they have both been fabulous! I made Lynette's fabulous crock pot chicken and Cowboy's Heavenly Hamburger Pie. Both were yum! And if you knew me at all you would know that it a major deal that I made dinner 2 nights in a row! My poor DH must be in shock! I excel at other things, just not cooking!
My gyn has decided I have to have a d&c. That just sucks! I will have IV sedation but I just don't wanna do it. I hate, hate, hate being a patient (throws self on floor while kicking and screaming...)
And I'm stalled again. My body is readjusting, I guess. I lost last week but then I had the virus from hell. I gained that back and I'm just sitting here. Oh well. I guess my skin needed a breather anyway!
Love to all of my OH family! I think you're the greatest!

Congrats on the cooking. I don't do much of that, either, but I will have to, if I am to eat what I should eat, after surgery. Either that or teach my DH to do so.
I'm sorry you're facing a body adjustment and a medical procedure. Both will come and then be gone. Take it one day at a time. You've done so well. You'll be fine.
My prayers are with you.
Blessings,
Mary

Girlfriend, you are kicking my a$$ all over the place and you had surgery a month after me!! Tell me what you eat in a average type day and what exercise you're doing? I can't figure out why I lose so much slower than most. Ok! Ok! I'm not comparing myself (liar!) but I'm curious what you're doing differently that I'm not doing!
I believe you are losing slower, because you have less to lose! Those of us that had a ton of weight to lose (aka me!!!) tend to lose weight faster. I am sure that when I have 60 or 50 lbs left...the weight loss will be at a snail pace!!! You are looking great...even if the scales don't always move, you are changing and looking more and more beautiful every day!
You are too nice to me. And you do not have a ton of weight to lose.
I've been feeling kinda like a blimp the last few days. I'm not too thrilled when I look in the mirror. I'm not sure where all this came from except that I bought some smaller shirts at Sam's and they are all too small. Was kind of a blow to the ego. People talk about trying on sizes that are too big but I was the opposite and everything was too small. Sigh! I hate my big belly!
But I digress! It's Saturday, my Cowboys are playing and I have NOTHING that I absolutely have to do today! Yay!

Trying clothes that are too small with do that...they don't fit, so you automatically feel, well, fat! Just like the old times...when everything was too small! However, keep in mind that what does not fit today, eventually will...may not be next week, but it will. Did you ever have this kind of confidence during the million diets you have been on in the past?
I know it's hard to stay positive...even though I know we try. You focus on your belly, I focus on my butt...no matter what I do, it will always be bigger than the rest of me! The fact that I went down literally 10 sizes in clothes gets obscured with the negatives many times....one day we'll learn!!
i start my day with either a scrambled egg or a piece of sausage. then at lunch i will have another scrambled egg or tuna. dinner is up in the air. we eat out a lot but of course i can't eat a lot. during the day i may suck on a lime or eat a few vanilla bean almonds. i drink at least 60 oz of water every day and most of the time it is more.
when i workout, i walk a mile in 19 minutes. then i alternate days on working my legs and my upper body. after all that i do 20 crunches and walk a lap and repeat that 2 more times. that is my routine 7 days a week. my workout lasts from 50 minutes to an hour.
and that's it!
