OT Good News

Giorgi's MRI was NORMAL! That means the only other reason for her drop in IQ is inappropriate education. Dr Kukas spoke with the school and they were wanting her to make a statement stating she has experienced a traumatic brain injury between age 6 and 10 and were trying to deny their fault. She stated she would not make such a statement because it was not true. She DID however suffer a traumatic event in her life (much like divorce or death) due to a school personnel issue back in kindergarten. Her behavior and situation started changing after that event and I am discussing it with the attorney further.

That is good news, indeed, Nancy. It's a shame that the educational system refuses to be more helpful or at least compliant. The threat of legal action usually causes them to sit up and take notice. You're doing the right thing.

(((((Giorgi)))))) Its sad that the school wants to make excuses and wont stand up to their responsiblity.. dont get me started on schools... I am home schooling Dennis this year because of experiences with the school system.

I am praying for all to work out well for Georgi!

That is an outstanding report! I'm so happy for you and your daughter!

I was so touched by the story of your adoption of her... she is a very lucky and blessed little girl.

Congratulations to you for looking out for her best interest.

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly
