I fixed your chicken in the crock pot today!  Yummy!!!!  I think it will become one of my regular recipes.  It was so nice to come home to a hot, ready dinner.  Thanks for sharing!

How about if everyone brings a recipe to the next dinner with enough copies to share?  We should all get some really great new ideas for meals.  It is way too easy for me to just grab a protein bar and call it good.  I need to do better for my body.  How about it guys- bring a recipe to the Iron Skillet (is that the name???) and maybe 20 copies?

It's the Iron Starr!

I bought the stuff to make it too.  What all did you put in it?

I actually followed the recipe!  I put frozen chicken breasts, 1/2 pack taco seasoning, 1/2 C salsa, and a can of beans.  I used kidney beans because that is all I had.  I did add a tad of water to make sure the chicken would be totally covered when it thawed.  Yummers!  I have leftovers for lunch for the rest of the week and some in the freezer.

I can't follow recipes...I would like to, especially with all these great stuff I see posted, but I don't know what it is.....I think maybe I just don't have the patience? Maybe it's because I like to fix quick things...I don't know....just rambling!

My goodness, such interest !!!   For recipes go to, Forums, Member interests, Show sub-categories, Home, Baking and Cooking.  Be careful, not all are sugar/carb free or without the forbidden foods.    Also a neat place is www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com.   And the recipe once again for those who missed.

Small Crockpot (large crockpot double the recipe but it will be a lot for your tiny tummy.

2 chicken breasts (I leave them frozen)
1/2 packet taco seasoning
a can black or pinto beans
1/2 c. salsa

Put in crock pot on low and let cook all day or high for 4 hours.  Try it, you'll like it.
