I'm home from the Edmond Seminar...

It is 12:20 AM and I just walked in the door.. My eyes are dragging, but it was well worth the late night.  Dr. Broussard gave the seminar this evening and did a WONDERFUL presentation.  He said if we had answer and questions till midnight he would stay and answer all of them.  Well, it wasn't quite midnight but 10 PM..  WOWO!!!! what a wealth of information.. Tried to think on the way home but  think I was too tired to process all the info..  I do go back for my first initial visit on the 25th.. So I will be sure to write down questions and such..


Thanks to all of you that recommended Weight Wise because they are absolute wonderful there.. I look forward to a wonderful journey with them.

I am so glad you enjoyed the seminar. I remember walking inot mine a skeptic and walking out anxious for my first visit. At that visit I learned that my insurance excluded WLS.Dr Walton told me if I wanted to walk away he would not come after me for payment for that visit. I didn't and don't regret the large checks I had to write one bit! It is so worth every penny I have spent!

I'm so glad Mrs P that you left the seminar feeling good about it all.  I did the same thing.  I just wanted to hear what they had to say and oh my was I excited.  I even signed up for a second seminar just to take my husband with me to hear it all as well.  I wanted him to hear it from "the horses mouth".  I would so do it again in a heart beat.  Good luck on your initial visit and for your decision to start on this wonderful journey with us!!!

Hi!  I'm glad you had a safe and informative trip!  Sounds like you are moving right along!  Goody!!! 

I went to a WLS supt group meeting in Owasso w/ Dr. Gorospe's office.  I have so many friends that have used him.  My friend that went with me took me upstairs and I saw the Bariatric wing.  Everything is so nice.  I even got to meet Dr. G!  I met a friend from on OH too! Hi Dionne P!  (she was very helpful too!)  ANYWAY!  I decided to change docs and go to Dr. Gorospe.  Its soooooo close to home and If I have complications I won't be driving 2 hours.  I went to his seminar yesterday afternoon in Tulsa.  I have even More confidence in him now then I did before!  I just feel like he's the one for me!  Now I have to get ahold of My surgeon's office in OKC and let them know.  I hate doing that because they have been so helpful and informative and put up with all my calls and emails!  But I'm doing what I feel is best for my family!  I see Dr. G this friday!  I'm excited to get the process started!

I JUST LOVE Dr. B.  I feel like he has given me my life back !!!  Think, think, think, and ask, ask, ask.  A group of us are coming up to do the Walk for Obesity in Tulsa on the 27th, we'd love to see you there.  We're going to get together with the Tulsa folks for a meet and greet.  Keep your eyes on the site and join us!

MY DAD MADE MY MOM GO WITH ME TO THE SEMINAR BECAUSE MY HUSBAND HAD TO WORK AND WASN'T ABLE TO GO. IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND I LOVED DR B. I WAS SO GLAD THAT MY APPOINTMENTS WERE WITH HIM. NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM VERY PLEASED THAT I WENT THRU ALL THIS TO GET TO WHERE I AM TODAY. I AM NOT DONE WITH MY JOURNEY BUT I AM WELL ON MY WAY. I COULDN'T HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF MY FAMILY AND THIS FAMILY ON THIS BOARD. STAY IN TOUCH WITH US AND LET US KNOW HOW YOUR JOURNEY IS GOING!!
