It's So True About Feet!!

Well, since fall is upon us I went out this past weekend and did some shoe shopping.  I have been considered the "shoe queen" by my family and I think that is because I could always shop for shoes and find something that fit, was cute and stylish...unlike clothing!!  I really had a "need" for shoes since I have a lot of open toed shoes now.  Well, well, well...low and behold I no longer wear a 9 1/2.  I am now wearing 8 1/2's.  I thought it was just a particular brand but I tried on many shoes and that was the size I wore in most.  I even surprised my DH and came home with a pair of semi pointed toed (a small box) shoes with an open back and 2 1/2 inch heel.  Do you know how  many years and years it has been since I have even looked at a pair like that to even try on much less buy.  I actually bought 4 pair (only one 2 1/2" heel...LOL)...Ross and TJ Max...and they are all 8 1/2.  I wore the heels to church on Sunday and they actually felt good and I felt good wearing them.  It's amazing that loosing 136 pounds will cause my feet to shrink but it has!!!  WoooHoooHooo....the smaller clothing sizes also are a big WOW as well.  It's funny when I do wear something that fits me to church or work I get all kinds of compliments but it's not long until it's too big....not that I'm complaining.  I love to shop and do shop for clearance sales, Ross, TJ Max, Marshalls and all those other outlet places.  I don't have to just go to Catherines or the Avenue anymore.....  I know a lot of you guys aren't buying smaller clothes but it sure does a lot for a girl's ego and when you work in an office as a professional it's hard to go in with baggy, baggy clothes!

Way to go, Deb!!  It is kind of amazing the changes that take place- from head to toe.  How exciting to wear smaller shoes.  It seems that there are so many more cute shoes in a 8 1/2 instead of a 9 1/2.  How long did it take until your shoes were too big?

As for your clothes, you are shrinking so fast right now I don't know how you keep up.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I have not had to buy a smaller size shoe, but was so excited when I could buy a regular width instead of wide!!!
Now bras on the other hand -- my DIL was laughing at the vast change in size already!

I've been lucky so far in that area.  I've had to buy smaller around but so far the cup is the same...always before when I "DIETED" that was the first place I lost.  This is weird.  I think it will be exciting when I can see my feet when I stand up.  I know HappyCat she could now since her girls weren't in the way!!!! LOL

Expected the first thing to go on me would be the girls too.  Hasn't happened too much.  A little saggy, but that's another issue entirely.  Anywhoo.....my foot has shrunk also.  Almost a full size.  It's weird to retrain myself to ask for a 6 1/2 instead of a 7 or 7 1/2.  I posted a while back that my head has shrunk too because my motorcycle helmet is too big.  Cure for that was cute sparkly doorags.  I do LOVE my shoes though and have had a hard time getting rid of them.  Some I can still wear too big (sparkly converse), but others like heels, I'm pretty sure I'd look like a stumbling drunk walking in them.  So they've been donated.  WooHoo for all of us.  WE ROCK!

You know I didn't notice my shoes until I put on some that were enclosed instead of the open toe sandals.  They just felt floppy.  I guess I just discovered it when I needed to wear the enclosed ones.
