Doing Great!
I wanted to let everyone know that i am doing great and everyday gets better and better. I still have to take my loratab but its more or less to help keep my tummy from being sore. The sickness hasnt bothered me in two days which is wonderful. I have to say though that second night was definalty my worse day because of the dry heves. I didnt actually puke which strangely enough was nice. I know everyone talks about head hunger but I dont think thats what I am dealing with. I have drank more then enough of my daily was to make myself full and its not happening. My tummy growls at me all the time. Im making it threw though, I have a wonderful strength and that is eric and my family. I hope everything continues to get better and the pounds and inches keep melting away. I hope everyone is doing well.
Talk to you all soon!

I am so happy to hear you are doing well. Congratulations on the fluid intake! I am 2 months out today and I still struggle with getting it all in. Some days are better than others. I really only had head hunger that first week. Now I can sit with others eating anything and everything around me and it has not bothered me. I honestly don't miss the carbs at all which is strange as they were my downfall before!
I'm so glad you're feeling better. I hope you have an easy time for the rest of your recovery.
About the hunger feeling ... are you on a proton pump inhibitor? Stomach acid can give you that burning feeling like real hunger. They make chewable forms of some of them ... like Prevacid and I believe some of the others. Also, I'm sure that trimmed tummy is sore .. especially after dry heaves. That may make the feeling of hunger worse, too, possibly.
The tummy growling is from air in your new tummy and GI tract. Be careful about swallowing air when drinking. It could also be from gas buildup. The normal muscle action of your tummy and intestines will make noise if there's any air or gas in your GI tract.
I'm not saying that you aren't having real hunger ... just that these other possibilities may feel just like real hunger, too.
I hope the rest of your recovery is easy and very quick! Remember to walk, keep sipping and rest when you need it.
