what's the story behind noshiro-von-lupis???  lol

I like japanese history (mainly the samurai stuff) and the Noshiro was a famous warship from Japan during World War II.  So I tokk that name on as my samurai name so to speak.  Von is the French word for "the".  Lupis is the Latin word for "wolf".  So technically to me the e-mail name stands for "Dan the Wolf".  Been using the same name since 2002.

I knew there was a story and I was hoping it wasn't something I SHOULD have known...that would be embarassing!  lol  Did you love The Last Samuri with Tom Cruise?  I have only seen it twice and both time I cried my guts out!!!  I was way more "in love" with the samuri than Tom Cruise though!  lol
