Another Great Support Group

I really needed support group tonight, and as usual it was so worth it. My daughter's IEP meeting at school was today and I have been preparing for it and dreading it for 2 weeks. I thought for sure it would send me to the fridge, and it just might have if I had not left right after the meeting for Edmond (yes, it lasted that long!)

On another note -- the changes in my body and the increased energy I have continues to amaze me. We went to Salina this past weekend and met up with some friends. We took the kids to the zoo and I was the only one who was not complaining of being hot or tired. (but I also learned that my tummy does NOT like pork rinds!) Today I got into pants another 2 sizes smaller! I was sure they would not fit yet and was so surprised. My necklace hangs lower because my neck is smaller, and my butt still hurts from sitting on those chairs at WW! LOL.

YEAH for Nancy!  You are looking awesome too by the way.  I thought last night's group meeting was one of the best I've been to.  There was so much more interaction among the pre-ops as well as post-ops.  I loved it all.  They are always so good for me and so motivating.  I love seeing everyone as they change from one month to the next!!!  I feel like I have made some life long friends and we all have a "common bond".  Thanks, Nancy, for being one of them!!!

Now I'm embarrassed because I didn't see you there -- or maybe I did and I didn't recognize you :0   It was a really great evening.

I hadn't seen most of you lovely folks in a month since I missed the last support group and the dinner.  I must say it was wonderful to be able to see such huge changes in all of you!  You guys are shrinking at a rapid rate!  Keep up the great work.

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you last night.  Maybe I can fix that at the dinner on the 16th.  I really enjoyed the meeting too.  We had a lot more interaction than usual.  Mabye that was because there were fewer people there?  I don't know!  I hope we can recapture that again!

Good luck with your daughter.  You are a great advocate for her.  Don't let anyone run you over!
