I just spoke to Eric and Melissa is out of surgery and everything looks good. They said she did just fine. Now maybe, my stomach will unknot!! I am heading down there early this evening to see her. I will let you know more then. Thank you to everyone who helped her out. She is now officially sitting on the bench with the rest of us losers!!

Thank you all for the well wishes. I'm getting ready to leave work now so I can drive down and see her. Last I checked she was in her room and had just got her pain meds. Me... well I have good days and not so good days, but I am getting there. I just hope and pray Lissa will have a far easier time than I have. But she has age going for her so I know she will do just fine.

My best to you and her. I'm surprised you haven't pulled a hernia with worry ;) Here's hoping she has an easier time than you did. Remind her the worst is in about three days and IT SHOULD get easier from there.
