Sep 6th Siminar @ WW
Okay, my curiosity got the better of me and I booked a spot for myself and my SO in the Siminar at WW this Saturday. I've already met with Dr. Warnock and love him but after hearing all of you rave about the Dr.'s an prgram at WW I couldn't resist. We're going to be in OKC for the weekend celebrating my B-day early anyway so I'm dragging my poor dear sweet BF along with me....all the better so he'll have a better idea of what to expect! Anyone else gonna be there??
Even if you use Dr. Warnock, it will still be such a good experience to attend the meeting. I was so glad I had attended one in advance. It just gives you a real life perspective of what WLS patients face and to hear the success stories is very inspirational! I don't think I will be there this week since I probably need to stick close to DH until he heals up completely from his surgery. -Amy

I won't be there either... But, I actually enjoyed the info seminars that I've been to! I guess that's a good thing since I've been to FOUR of them! lol
First, I went to Dr. Gorospe's... and then found out he was out of network.
Second, went to Dr. Katsis'... and insurance denied me.
Third, I decided to go self-pay and went to WW and saw Dr. Broussard (FINALLY, I got a surgeon!!)
Fourth, I went with my brother to WW and got to hear Dr. Walton!
You can NEVER know too much about this procedure you are getting ready to have!

I agree with the others that you can never know too much info about the procedure of WLS in which you wish to have. Whereas, Dr Warnock was (well, still is) my surgeon and I love him very much, you should weigh your options see what is the best fit for you. Hopefully, your bf stays awake for the seminar LoL. I know I have trouble keeping my husband awake for support groups haha.
