Funny story from vacation

We spent the holiday weekend in Salina, Kansas with some friends from Colorado (the halfway point for each of us). On the way home today, we stopped for lunch at a BBQ restaurant in Guthrie. I ordered chili. It was pretty busy and the manager was walking around checking on everyone. I was really concentrating on eating slowly. all of a sudden the manager came out and handed me a chopped beef brisket sandwich and onion rings. He said, "I don't like our chili either so this is on the house." I quickly explained that the chili was great and why I was eating so slow. He understood and said he wanted to be sure I was happy. Of course he could not take the food back so gave it to my husband. My husband got a kick out of it and said we could use this tactic to our advantage making me an even cheaper date! LOL

That's funny.  I've had that happen to me several times.  The server will ask if everything is okay.  I haven't had anyone bring me a free meal yet though!!  They just know when we're finished eating it still looks like we haven't touched anything!

This is the ride of my life.....what an amazing tool I now have!!!

That is neat...I always get that question form the waiters, whether my food is ok, and even more when I take 3/4 of it home!

That's funny!  I know we really confuse servers.  They just can't figure out what is going on with us.  I pity the poor servers that have to figure out a whole table full of us!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)
