A couple of WOW moments!
Hi guys. I miss you all lots. Been quite busy with everything, so I only get on from time to time. Just had to come share a couple of wow moments with you all! :)
I went to a wedding yesterday, but when getting ready for it, realized I had nothing "wedding worthy" to wear. SO...I ran to Cato really quick and grabbed a few shirts to try on. The one that was the cutest and fit the best was a 14/16!!! OMG! Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine what it felt like to put on a 14/16 that fit me!!! It didn't match my pants though, so I had to give it up. The shirt I ended up getting didn't come in a 14/16, or I would have actually had the honor of purchasing it rather than the 18/20. But...just the fact I could get it on and that it looked good was AMAZING! :)
My second WOW...Pretty amazing. Since I was 17 years old, I've been a size or 2 bigger than my mom. I haven't been able to wear her clothes for over 10 years. About 2 months ago, I went "shopping" in my mom's closet because all my clothes were too big. I got a lot of things and still couldn't fit all of her clothes and decided I'd go "shopping" in her closet at a later date. Well...that date was last night, and amazingly...all of her clothes are too big for me. It was incredible. It made me really sad on one hand because I could see her unhappiness in herself. I think it just made her look at herself and her eating habits really closely. I am praying she'll take my weightloss and let it encourage her, but I'm afraid she isn't. SO...just pray for my momma, if you would. :) I am still pretty dang excited about this whole journey!!! It's incredible. :)
Love you guys!

Yay for your WOW moments, Liz! I agree with Charlotte ~ I would have bought the 14/16 shirt and new pants to match it too lol. I don't have good willpower on shopping. You're doing great, girl! *hugs*

School is FABULOUS!!! I am just absolutely loving it!!! My son does like the new place. It is much much smaller than our house in Holdenville, but I love it because there's not so much to keep up with!!! My major is communications with a minor in graphic print media. I LOVE the idea of marketing and advertising. :)
Love ya!!!
