Saw Dr. B yesterday

Saw Dr. B yesterday.  It was a fairly uneventful visit...  I'm down 13 lbs by his scale (16 by mine).  I can put my wedding rings on without lotion now.

I'm non-compliant...  I'm not getting all of my water in (but I'm trying) so that is what I'm going to work even harder on from this point forward...

I also didn't go to the diet class.  I was with my brother because he had an appointment with Dr. Walton, and I needed to get back to Bartlesville because Miranda had a birthday party of a friend to go to.  I hope I don't get in too much trouble for skipping out on the diet class.  I've heard from a couple people that it is the exact same thing as the first one, and I have my hand-out from the first meeting and refer to it often.

So, that is my update for now.  My next visit with Dr. B is October 10.  I will be at the Sept 18 support group meeting with my brother :o)

It's too early to label yourself non-compliant....it was SO hard for me to get my water in for about the first 3 months!!!  I had to force it down my throat every day....it just gagged me!  It is the biggest challenge at first if you ask me...some people have different experiences but that was mine..sounds like it will be yours...just focus on it and stay positive. I can drink crystal light and green tea like nobody's business now.   I can take in 10 ounces in just a minute now!!!  I never thought I would be able to do that again.

Hijack......Diana, I just noticed your ticker. Yea, you surpassed the 100 pound lost mark. Congratulations, I must have missed that post somewhere. Nice job, girlfriend.

Diana, Wow!  You have lost over 100 pounds!!!  What a major accomplishment!  Great work!

Thanks!  It is pretty awesome!  I can't believe I am 8 months out!!!!  I'm such a retard...I just figured out how easy it is to figure how far out I am by what month it is!!!  8 is 8, 9 is 9!!!!!!!!!!!  I figured out my mom  was 20 years older than me when I turned 20 and she turned 40.  I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer!  OMG!!!

Hey Dot, were you going up the elevator about 11:30 yesterday?  I was in the elevator with a multi colored blouse and brown capris.  I spoke but didn't ask if I knew you.  I thought you looked very familiar.  I had to get supplements at the store.  Did you have Brandy cornered at the desk in front of the store??  I'm just curious.  I'm thinking I might have seen you.  I was in a hurry to get back to my office.  I know what you mean about not getting in all the liquids.  It's not hard now but in the beginning it was extremely hard for me.  I do better when I'm working and in a routine than when I'm off!  Take care.

I'm sorry Rita.  I was in such a hurry.  I had my well woman appointment at Integris and just made a big circle around to WW to ge my vitamins.  I did think about coming in to see you but had been gone a couple of hours from work as it was.  I see Dr. W in a couple of weeks and I PROMISE I will stop by.  I love your picture!!!!

YES!!  I probably was who you saw!  I wish you would have said something!!  I made it all the way out to my car and remembered I needed a release to go back to work and had to go back up there and it was Brandy who got it for me!!

Wow, I sure wish I would have known who you were!  I'm not very good at recognizing people from their avatars on here!
