80 lbs gone!
I am 80 lbs down now. 35 of that is post op. I would be more excited if Randy was well. But, I would have never made it sitting in those little chairs and awful recliner if I had not lost the weight. At one point I was actually sitting on the floor in the hall outside ICU!!!! It wasn't pretty getting up but hey-I could do it! All the walking you do to and from hospital and such hasn't bothered me at all. The nurse one day told me she was concerned because I wasn't eating. I had forgotten to eat! I guess you guys are right...I really don't "need" a snack! LOL! Anway, I just thought I would report the weight loss and when Randy gets home I will be very happy and will celebrate! Please keep us both in your prayers and also pray for Camille as she heads home alone to Louisiana tomorrow. I know bad weather is headed their way but hopefully she makes it home before the rain or anything hits. My sister is THE BEST! She is an RN and plus her husband was on life support last year for 2 months so she has been there done that to the 10th degree. Okay I am rambling now...can you tell I am lacking sleep?!! LOL! Please keep us all in your prayers. -Amy

How wonderful to read your update, Amy. Congratulations on your weight loss. Having the experience in the hospital with Randy must make the weight loss and improved physical condition that much sweeter.
I feel that Randy has turned a corner, as it were. However, I will continue to pray for him. I'm also praying for you, that the Lord will give you an extra measure of physical strength, just as He's given you the emotional strength to endure this trial.
My prayers include Camille. God will bless her for her sacrifice of time in coming to help you and Randy. Now...everyone get some rest! Please remember to eat.
Blessings,
Mary

I will keep you, Randy, and Camille in my prayers! I am glad Randy is doing better.
Wow on the 80 pounds! Hospitals have to be the most uncomfortable places on Earth to have to hang out! I agree, you would have suffered much more 80 #'s heavier. Good work! Keep rocking that tiny tummy!
Hopefully, Randy can come home sometime this weekend. It will be wonderful to have him home so you can all recuperate.
