BRAIN STORM HELP?????

OK ALL YOU BRILLIANT PEOPLE, I NEED SOME HELP ON SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. FOR MY WEDDING I AM WANTING TO GIVE MY 3 SISTERS (MY BRIDESMAIDS) SOMETHING EXTRA SPECIAL AND VERY UNIQUE AS GIFTS. I AM OPEN TO ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS. I HAVE READ THAT THERE ARE SOME PRETTY CREATIVE PEOPLE ON THIS SITE AND WOULD LOVE TO PICK YOUR BRAINS FOR SOMETHING TRUELY UNIQUE AND SENTIMEMTAL. What about a locket with a picture of you and the bridesmaid together inside?

GREAT IDEA, SEE I KNEW THERE WERE BRILLIANT PEOPLE ON THIS SITE. I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IT TO THEM BEFORE THE WEDDING SO I CAN'T  DO THAT SINCE I DON'T LIVE CLOSE TO THEM WE DON'T TAKE PICS TOGETHER VERY OFTEN. BUT GREAT IDEA. THANKS

 

 I'm a big fan of the charm bracelet.  Did one for my bridesmaids/friends that had a bridesmade charm on it.  Then I would add to each of theirs for birthday, special event, or the birth of children.  They all still wear them and absolutely treasure them.  That's my two cents!

You can get reasonably priced stands of real pearls on qvc.com.  That would be a nice, lasting gift.  The Honora line is a nice line of affordable pearls.  And, they could wear them in the wedding.

Christi, I don't know if you are in to scrapbooking, but that would be nice to give them with pics of you guys growing up through the current time. Just a thought. Rita

I gave my three bridesmaids something different, something significant to eachone of them in relation to our friendship. One of my bm's started out as my hairdresser and so I gave her a bracelet with a little pair of silver scissors, another one was always passing me the funniest notes in school and we'd kept most of them and still read them together and laughed at our younger selves so I laminated them all and put them in a binder for her, we still enjoy them! The third one and I had been freinds since 3rd grade so i got a picture frame with a place for two picutres and I put one of us on the day we met, and one of us a the rehersal dinner and had the frame engraved "Best Friends...Now and forever" we both cried like babies when she opened because she confessed to me that she was afraid of loosing her best friend to marriage ( which she didn't) Anyway I'd think about each of your bridesmaids and what you have been through together as friends and give them each something symbolic.
