My banana loves watermelon!  It goes down very nicely!  Give it a try for a different taste sensation!

Also, the melon flavored Propel is yummy!

Thanks, Kim. As a pre-op, I'm always looking for what other VSGers can eat. I know my experience may be different, but it will be worth a try. Speaking of watermelon, I just tried yellow watermelon (yellow on the inside). I'd never heard of it, but it was very good.
Blessings,
Mary

I agree, watermelon is delicious. So is cantalope. I love pears and mandarin oranges too!

Thanks, glad you liked my big hair! I will get dolled up again with it on for a new pic soon.

This one is as of yesterday, just to be current.

Boy, I tried italian sausage and sauerkraut for dinner this evening.  My stomach has been talking to me ever since.  Boy, I hope I don't regret this tomorrow !!!

That is one of the main dishes I try to fix at least once every other week.  I love me some smoked sausage and either saurkraut or cabbage.  I have to split it up into 2-3 meals now where as before surgery I would eat it all (I was such a pig I swear).

Now as for melons, I am SOOOO glad I can ea****ermelon and cantelope now.  I grew up eatting them both and grew to love them both so much.  4th of July was the first time I tried either and I only tried just a small bite of each but ooh it was mana.

My son bought a watermelon home last weekend and it was WONDERFUL! Darn it, I am now sitting in a hotel room with no watermelon anywhere close and you have me craving it!
