Sorry if I'm stepping on anyone's toes but I'm a planner and a travel agent. Its what I do. I also love my city so I like people to have a good time while here.
I checked into some hotels that are 1) going to be convienient to the walk site, 2) going to be walking distance to evening entertainment and dining, and 3) in a decent area. Crowne Plaza Downtown and Holiday Inn Suites in Jenks are both pricing at $119.00 per night. The HI is walking distance to the RiverWalk in Jenks and the Crowne Plaza is walking distance to all kinds of bars and a few restaurants. HI will offer breakfast, CP does not. CP also charges for parking unless you can get a meter after 6 and park on the street when its free. CP was just renovated and its pretty snazzy. I haven't been into the HI in a while so I don't know about it. You can get a group rate if you get a minimum of 8 rooms and it will save you roughly 20%.
Whatever you decide to do, please avoid the 31st and Memorial area. It has a pretty high crime rate because there are so many hotels clustered into that tiny area. Lots of break ins.
Have a great day everyone!

Riverwest is 2 miles from downtown. There is nothing there. And by nothing, I mean NOTHING. Riverwalk is about 6 miles away but there is some fun stuff to do there and it is an easy drive between the two.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know what I found because its what I do. :) And downtown is awesome. I love downtown. I would gladly take anyone that came to Tulsa for the walk downtown for a drink at my favorite pub if I were able to. And I sincerely mean that.

I live in the burbs, so I always enjoy staying in downtown places and checking out the urban scene.
I looked into bed and breakfasts, but I think they are geared toward couples and not gaggles of giggling gals.
Some of the business oriented places out by the airport have good workout facilities and if they have breakast setups they'be be cool with us going in there to talk and giggle. So many options!
Someone pick a place and I'll follow (Denise and Kim).....LOL.
The Hyatt Place is the "host" hotel. Its a nice property but its not really close to the walk site. They have a group rate of $109.00 per night and you could conceivably fit 5 people in a room with double beds and the pull out sofa. They usually have nice workout facilities, an indoor pool, breakfast, a wet bar in the room, and a 42" plasma TV. The rooms also have a partial divider between the sleeping area and sitting area. I personally love Hyatt Place properties and stay with them when I can. They have a prepay rate of $89.25 per night but it is non-refundable and due in full.
Ok, I'm going back to ignoring this. I feel like I'm stepping on toes but I just wanted to share that tidbit of info I got. I wish they'd put the host hotel info on the webpage.
